Shepard led her team into the airlock.
“Atmospheric seal secured,” EDI reported. “Pressure stabilising. Opening the airlock.”
They came into a long docking tube, which led into an abandoned passage. Several bodies were lying on the floor there.
“Exploring an abandoned area,” Garrus said, poking Shepard with his elbow. “Expecting something mechanical and nasty to jump out at any moment. Just like old times.”
“Yeah,” Shepard smiled grimly.

“Shepard,” EDI’s voice suddenly interrupted, when she was trying to open the door. “There is no pressure on the other side. I suggest you use helmets.”
“Thanks for the warning, EDI,” the commander said, putting hers on. “I don’t much want to get spaced again.”
“You okay?” Garrus asked quietly.
